My name is Akira Wakui

I create a variety of artworks by integrating the latest technologies such as 3D modeling, visual effects, and VR with traditional methods (ceramics, wood carving, painting, etc.) Additionally, I create fan art and homage pieces that pay tribute to the works of Katsushika Hokusai.

Katsushika Hokusai "

Waves" Project

This project is a collaborative work with TV Tokyo's "New Giants of Beauty," in which Hokusai's ceiling painting of waves, "Raging Waves," which he painted in his later years, is recreated in a virtual space.
